Shoes

"Shoes" (2011) – conceptual artwork by Isaac Cohen exploring materiality and existence through a humble still life. A worn pair of leather shoes rests beside cut cardboard forms and a crumpled architectural drawing on a concrete floor. Referencing Van Gogh, the piece reflects on the physical traces of labor, the weight of modernity, and the poetic tension between handmade materials and industrial design.
